SoFlaJo Red Carpet Swatches and Review!

Good morning my fellow lacquered lovers!  Happy Thursday!  I hope you are all getting into the holiday spirit!  I am leaving tomorrow to go visit my boyfriend's family in Ohio for my very first Christmas and then to spend time with my family so I'm a busy lady!  But not to worry, I have a bunch of fun stuff including some amazing guest posts lined up for you all!  Now, without further ado, on to the polish!

Above:  2 coats of Red Carpet

Red Carpet is a gorgeous deep red matte polish with a hint of holographic glitters in it!  I love how rich and warm this polish feels.  Plus even with the tiny glitters it dries super smooth and level and has an almost suede like texture!  The formula was great, opaque in 2 coats and very easy to apply!

Red Carpet and the rest of the Party Time Nail Polish Collection (which are all GORGEOUS) are on sale now at the Soflajo website HERE for $10 for 15 ml or $5 for 5ml.

What did you think of this polish? Must have? Any Dupes?

SoFlaJo Frankie's Lab Dance Swatches and Review!

Good afternoon my fellow lacquered lovers!  Happy Saturday to you all!  I hope you are all having a fabulous weekend so far!  Today, I have one of the new polishes from indie nail polish brand SoFlaJo's Terrified Collection for Halloween!  Now, without further ado, on to the polish!

Above:  2 coats of Frankie's Lab Dance with top coat

Frankie's Lab Dance is an iridescent green with the tiniest flashes of purple and is full of micro glitter in orange, purple and green.  I love how much texture it looks like this polish has!  I'm always a fan of iridescence in polish because I love seeing the subtle purple sheen to it.  The formula was great on this, opaque in two coats but would also look really fun layered over a black!  The glitter does dry rather gritty so I would definitely use a top coat to make it more smooth.

All in all, I love this polish!  And I love that the bow on it says Trick or Treat, it's such adorable packaging!  This polish and the rest of the Terrified Collection is available on SoFlaJo's website for $5 for 5ml or $10 for 15ml!  I definitely want to pick up Purple Reign of Terror and The True Death as well!

What did you think of this polish!  Must have?  Any Dupes?

SoFlaJo Moonlight Bay and Blue Martini Swatches and Review!

Good afternoon my fellow lacquered lovers!  Happy Wednesday to you all!   Today, I have two polishes from the awesome indie brand SoFlaJo to show you!  I have one from her Happy Hour Collection and one from Life's A Beach!  Now, without further ado, on to the polish!

Above:  2 coats of Moonlight Bay

Moonlight Bay is from the Life's A Beach Collection and it's a gorgeous jet black matte polish with white shimmer in it!  I love how much depth this polish has!  A matte shimmer is a gorgeous thing and Moonlight Bay does not disappoint.  The formula was excellent, practically a one coater but I added a second for good measure.

Above:  1 coat of Blue Martini over 2 coats of Moonlight Bay

Blue Martini is an AMAZING blue jelly polish that's full of blue and holographic bar glitter, diamond shaped glitter and small round glitter!  It's so cute!  I love all the different types of glitter and really love how it looked over the black!  Plus, the glitter was really easy to use and you don't have to fish for it to get it out!

All in all, I loved both of these polishes!  They are both a great quality, great formula and just great polishes in general!  Both of these and many more gorgeous polishes by SoFlaJo are available on here website HERE in both mini and full sizes!

What did you think of these polishes?  Any must haves?  Any dupes?

SoFlaJo Call Forth Dragons Swatch and Review!

Good afternoon my fellow lacquered lovers!  Today, I have a gorgeous color changing top coat from the amazing SoFlaJo!  She recently released the Year of the Dragon Collection which is EIGHT different sparkling top coats!  How fun!  She sent me Call Forth Dragons, which as she describes on her site as "Silver glitter and depending on your base coat, shifts from light purple to silver to blue/green."  So now, without further ado, on to the polish!

Above:  1 coat Finger Paints Black Expressionism with 1 coat of Call Forth Dragons on top

I started with 1 coat of my favorite new black, Finger Paints Expressionism which is just a pure black creme and then did one coat of Call Forth Dragons on top.  It's amazing!  Look at all that purple and silver and icy blue that comes out!  Especially in the macro shot you can see the purple, it's amazing!  I love colors that can be layered to completely change a polish and Call Forth Dragons is definitely that!  I can't wait to try it over other colors and see the effects that it has!

Call For Dragons and the other 7 color changing top coats are available at SoFlaJo's website found HERE for $5 per bottle!  I want to get the rest to try them out and see the color shifts!

What do you think of this polish?  Are you a fan of layering polishes like I am?
