Good afternoon my fellow lacquered lovers! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! Mine was full of friends, studying and swatching! I have some great stuff coming up for you this week and we'll start where we left off last week, with NYX! Today I have 3 more fabulous polishes to show you so now, without further ado, on to the polish!
Above: 2 coats of Magnolia
Magnolia is a bright pink with subtle silver shimmer that is just shy of being a neon! This is the perfect Summer pedicure shade! I love that the shimmer is really subtle and barely shows but gives the polish a bit more character than just being a cream. Magnolia is perfectly opaque in 2 coats and super shiny even without a top coat!
Above: 2 coats of Gray
I love how some of the NYX polishes have names that are just colors and some have more interesting names! Gray is exactly what it sounds like, a gray cream nail polish! This actually reminds me a lot of Nails Inc. Thames, although maybe a drop darker. Gray is a great darker grey shade that's a perfect winter color! Also opaque in two coats and perfectly pigmented, this is one of my favorites!
Above: 2 coats of Carnival
Last but certainly not least is Carnival. Carnival is a pretty close dupe to both Wet N Wild Party of Five Glitters and Deborah Lippmann Happy Birthday. Multiple shades of glitter in multiple sizes suspended in a clear base, this is clearly meant to be a layering shade! This is actually the closest dupe I've seen to Happy Birthday! If you're looking for a cheaper alternative, here it is!
All in all, I was really impressed with NYX nail polish! The formula was pretty great, all were opaque in 2 coats and they have some great pigments!
What did you all think of these NYX polishes?
NOTE: These polishes were sent to me for review, please see the disclosure policy above if you have any questions.

I really like that shade of Gray!
ReplyDeleteVery lovely colors.
ReplyDeletelove the colors you reviewed - you tend to show colors that are sometimes outside my typical shades, and i appreciate that, though my wallet does not. haha :)
ReplyDeleteI love these colors! I have to admit, I'm a little "happy birthday duped" out though. The new bottle design is cool as well =)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI like Magnolia most. It is very pretty!
ReplyDeleteThese are so pretty! I really love the pink!
ReplyDeleteI am loving Gray!
ReplyDeleteCarnival is also pretty great. I have a thing for multisized hex glitter... hehe
